General

What level of fitness do i need to attend a class?

All our classes are suitable for every level of fitness. Complete beginners welcome. Ourclasses help to stretch, strengthen and melt tension. We are all about balance. We understand that on some days you will want to sweat (a lot!) and others slow it down with a Yin class.

Our classes are great to stretch, strengthen and build your upper body, core and lower body in
a low impact range of movement. Your best is always good enough at this studio. Remember it is not about being good at something. It is about being good to yourself.

How old do I need to be to attend classes?

For all classes, the minimum age is 14 years; if you’re under 16, you will need to come along with a parent or guardian. A guardian signature is required on your contract.

Can I take class if I’m pregnant?

Please first discuss the suitability of practising Yoga and Pilates classes with your health care practitioner and only practice if recommended to do so. Please note that practising is at your own risk, and it is your responsibility to practice the modifications with caution. 

You may practice Yoga, Pilates classes when pregnant. However, we recommend only
continuing to practice class styles that you have been consistently attending at Soul Tiger Studio or a similar studio for a minimum of 3-6 months.

If you wish to practice while pregnant, please email us to discuss the recommended pregnancy modifications before attending a class.  

We do not recommend practicing 26x2 as the heat is too high, and avoiding Yin for the first month post-pregnancy.

What if I have an injury?

Yes, but we’d recommend you get the OK from your doctor before class. If you are unsure, ask a member of the team for advice and support before your class, so we can help adjust or guide your movements.

What do I do if I injure myself?

Please let the teacher know straight away if it is during class or in the general studio area. We have a number of staff with their first aid certificates. There are also first aid boxes located at reception. If there is an emergency please call 000

How do I give feedback?

We welcome your feedback and we want to hear about ways we can assist you with any concerns you may have. If you have a complaint, please speak to Kara in studio or kara@soultigeryoga.com.au

The Studio

It is my first visit to the studio, where do I go?

Soul Tiger studio is located at 3/11 Vuko place in Wariewood. Once you enter the business park, drive to the end of the driveway and turn left, there is a door to the entrance to walk upstairs to level 1. (Where right next to the McDonalds Drive Through on the other side of the fence)

Once inside the studio, please kick off your shoes, place them at the entrance and continue upstairs. Please introduce yourself at reception, we’ll show you around the studio and introduce you to the teacher. Please notify the teacher if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced across the Yoga or Pilates class styles.

Do I need to bring my own towel & mat?

Yes. You’ll need your own mat or towel, you can bring your own or we rent them: towels for $3 and mats for $5 at the front desk.

Are all your classes heated?

No, only 26x Yoga and HIIT Hot Pilates classes are heated. The Barre and Yin Yoga classes are not. The HIIT Hot Pilates classes are heated up to 34 degrees, and our 26x Yoga goes up to 43 degrees.

How is your studio ventilated?

You can breathe easy knowing our sophisticated ventilation system provides a constant airflow
and automatically  replenishes C0 levels with fresh air. Our studio breathes with you. You can read more about it here

Do you have lockers?

We lock the studio front door when the class begins, so you can feel comfortable with leaving personal belongings inside the studio during class.

What do I do if I hear a fire alarm?

Don’t panic. Our fully trained team will tell you what to do and guide you to safety. If the alarm stops after a short time, it was simply a false alarm or a test.

Classes

How do i book a class?

We have two options available for you.

1) Simply download the Soul Tiger App from the Apple App store to search and book a class.

2) Locate the schedule here to book a class via the Soul Tiger Website.

Late Notice & No Show Policy

The Late Cancel and No Show Policy applies to ALL in-studio classes. You have up until three hours before class to cancel your booking. Any cancellations made after the three-hour mark will be considered a late cancel. If you do not cancel your booking and do not attend, you will be considered a no show.

Clients with unlimited memberships will be charged the following fees for each late cancel or no show.

1) late cancel fee $15, no show fee $20.

2) Clients with a casual pass or class pack will lose one class for each late cancel and no show.

3) Cancellation fees are applied 48 hours after class.

4) Cancellations must be made on the app or website and cannot be made via phone or email.

5) By booking online, you are agreeing to the Late Cancel and No Show Policy

Why do we have this cancellation and no show policy in place?

Although we would prefer not to implement this policy, it is essential. Our experience shows that when we don’t have the policy in place, members cancel out of class late, not allowing sufficient time for other members to book in. This results in members missing out on attending
the classes that they love.

Membership

How do i become a member?

Simply sign up here using the registration form via Mindbody. Once you create the account, you can then start to book a class.

Where do i purchase a membership?

All the information to Soul Tiger Studio pricing can be found on our website and can be purchased online here, via our Soul Tiger App or in studio.

We have a range of options available depending on how you want to join and pay. The three main options are:

1) Intro Pass: $50 Unlimited Classes for two weeks.

2) Upfront Payment: Unlimited Membership or 10 or 50 Class Packs.

3) Direct Debit from your selected account, note this can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Do you offer student concessions?

Student concession discounts are available. Please speak to the team for more information.

Do auto-pay memberships have a minimum term?

There is no minimum commitment period. The term of the weekly membership commences when you purchase the membership or another date as agreed by Soul Tiger Studio.

Weekly Memberships continue until you advise Soul Tiger Studio via email to cancel the membership. Seven days notice is required to process cancellations.

Can I suspend my membership if I’m going away?

Weekly auto-pay and 12-month memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one week and a
maximum of eight weeks per calendar year. Six-month memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one week and a maximum of four weeks.

Please allow 7 hours to process membership suspensions. Unfortunately, we do not offer suspensions on intro memberships.

How do I redeem a gift card for classes or memberships?

Gift cards purchased online can be redeemed through Mindbody by clicking here.

Gift Cards can also be redeemed on the Soul Tiger App.
